Emotionally Safe Care, a continuing education module in partnership between PNCB and the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP), will equip you with strategies to mitigate medical trauma and foster emotional resilience in children.

You don't need to be certified to enroll. Discover approaches to prioritizing the emotional well-being of pediatric patients and their families during medical experiences.

  • Recognize trauma and stress in pediatric healthcare settings that can lead to adverse health implications.
  • Explain the purpose and components of the ACLP’s Emotional Safety initiative.
  • Outline specific strategies and tactics to mitigate and prevent pediatric medical traumatic stress in healthcare settings.

Please share with colleagues, students, and others with a passion for pediatric nursing care.
