Recert is annual, but over a 7-year period you must complete PNCB Pediatric Updates modules and pharmacology requirements. See your Recert Dashboard to check the status of these 7-year tracking cycle requirements. We suggest you use view your portal's Dashboard and ReCErt Tracker before starting your application.

Use the CPNP-AC/PC guide.
- Did you earn initial acute care and primary care CPNP certification within the same year? You start the Dual AC/PC recertification program the year after passing the exams.
- Did you earn a second CPNP certification in a subsequent calendar year? You continue with your current single CPNP recertification program for year in which you passed the second CPNP exam. Your Dual AC/PC recertification program starts the following year.
