Acute Care: Medication Medley

From antiarrhythmics and immunosuppressants to acute rheumatic fever and vasopressin-dependent disorders, we've bundled informative articles to update your acute care pharm knowledge in our newest Pediatric Updates module, Acute Care: Medication Medley. Acute asthma exacerbations and select medication interactions are also included:

  • Explore how food, supplements, and other substances can interact with certain medications.
  • Review toxicities caused by antiarrhythmic medications and their associated treatment options.
  • Describe effects of immunosuppressant and antiviral therapies for children who have received solid organ transplants.
  • Explain antibiotic selection for severe Staphylococcus aureus infections and management of acute rheumatic fever.
