CPNP-PC Retesting Policies

Based on the executive order issued 3/23/2020 by the Governor of Maryland, PNCB’s physical office is closed. Staff are working remotely to continue to serve candidates, certificants, and employers. CPNP-PC Retesting Policies

Unsuccessful Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) exam candidates will follow the retesting policies below beginning September 1, 2019 and beyond.

If it has been more than 12 months since your last exam attempt, the activities described in the below chart must have been completed within the preceding 12 months of your current exam application.

Use this retest documentation form when submitting 15 contact hours per area of weakness after a second and fourth failed exam. 

If you are unsuccessful on the CPNP exam on your 6th attempt or beyond, please contact PNCB at exam@pncb.org for requirements.
