Dr. Beth Heuer is the DNP Program Director and an Associate Professor at Temple University College of Public Health, Department of Nursing. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in mental health and developmental/behavioral pediatrics. She has presented nationally on topics related to clinical care and academic and professional issues. Her work has been published in the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Journal for Nurse Practitioners, and the Journal of Pediatric Health Care, among others. She is an author and co-editor of the upcoming Elsevier textbook, The Nurse Preceptor Toolkit: Preparing Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses for Clinical Practice.
