A Message of Support from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board

Standing Together with Our Community in Challenging Times
October 31, 2025

PNCB recognizes that the ongoing government shutdown may be creating uncertainty and challenges for many individuals and families. Our thoughts are with those directly impacted.

Our community is at its strongest when we support and care for one another.

During this time, we remain committed to offering support and flexibility. To accommodate those experiencing hardship or disruption, we are extending our 2026 recertification early bird pricing through December 15, 2025.

If you need further support during this time, we encourage you to reach out for available resources and assistance options:

  • Recertification: If you have questions or concerns about recertification, please contact us at recert@pncb.org
  • Exam Deferral: If you are facing difficulties completing testing arrangements, please contact us at exam@pncb.org
  • All other questions or inquiries can be directed to service@pncb.org

Working Together and Sharing What Matters

We encourage you to share this information with other pediatric nurses and colleagues who are certified through PNCB or are looking to become certified, who may be impacted by the shutdown. To stay updated, please visit pncb.org or contact us directly at 1-888-641-2767 or pncb@pncb.org.

We Stand with You

The PNCB is dedicated to supporting pediatric nurses and ensuring quality care for children everywhere. We are here for you every step of the way.
